After finding out I was pregnant and researching that prenatal yoga could be so beneficial for the mommy body and for ease in pregnancy, labor, and delivery, I found Mukta’s prenatal yoga class, grabbed two of my friends who were also pregnant, and we made it a weekly routine to go. Full disclosure, I had practiced yoga in the past (MANY years ago) so I was in no way an “experienced yogi.” From the first class I felt a difference in my body- peacefulness and increased self awareness. I saw instant improvements in my sleep patterns and found myself looking forward to every Wednesday to participate in the practice again. Unfortunately, then COVID closed the studio, but Mukta wanted to continue to serve and offer us the class via zoom calls. I was concerned it wouldn’t have the same effect given I would be in my home and a Mukta on my computer screen but I was wrong. I continued to sleep better on the days we had class, felt stronger, and more flexible. I found myself really starting to become aware of my pelvic floor and began practicing the breathing techniques for labor and delivery. My labor was long, but when it came time to push, it took 15 minutes to push the baby out and I contribute so much of that to the exercises we did in Mukta’s class. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to practice with Mukta and would highly recommend taking her class to anyone who is pregnant.

I have loved the sessions SO much! Taking it easy in the first trimester has been nice! I love knowing I'm doing something good for me and my pregnancy and really feel like I can feel the areas we're working and how that will benefit me with regular practice. I'm so happy that you and my mom met so that I can practice yoga with you.

I thought that pregnant yoga actually consisted of a series of breathing exercises and exercises for the pelvic muscles that were done only to facilitate the active birth process. However, now I think that it is a very ideal method to deal with the problems caused by the hormones that we have been under the influence from the first trimester.
It cannot be said that I was very interested in sports before pregnancy. The thing I was worried about the most was the troubles I might be experiencing due to weakness of my leg and back muscles. Although I am in the last trimester now, thanks to the poses taught by Mrs. Müge, I haven't had an edema problem yet. I can also control my back pain while lying down when I have to take a break from yoga.
Of course, a lesson equipped with meditation techniques is also very good for your soul. If I realized the power of every breath I take for an hour and knew that being alone with myself could make such a difference, I would have met Yoga long before.
If you have a stressful and fast business life like me, if you want to slow down a little and spare time for yourself and strengthen your body, Yoga will be like a medicine, of course, at the right address like Mukta with her professional and smiling face and soft tone of voice.

I learned about the incredible effects of yoga on my body and soul with Mukta. I had no idea about pregnancy yoga in particular, that 1 hour of serenity I reserved for myself and my baby, I am now aware of how much our soul and body need those hours.
Of course, yoga is more special with you Mukta. You are doing your best to think about the finest details, to relieve our swelling, to refresh our soul and to feel good! I have aunt Müge that I will tell my daughter in the future : ) Thank you very much for everything.
I definitely want to continue Yoga with you after my pregnancy. With love.
5 stars recommendation for an excellent person, who came to my Spanish school to help us so much. Muge was one of my best. She helped me with cooking healthy foods, yoga classes and with my kids as well. I can only say THANKS FOR EVERYTHING and she will be welcomed back to my home when she wants.
Mukta stayed with us initially for a week or so to help Diani with her pregnancy as she is a qualified pregnancy yoga teacher. She really helped Diani a lot and she is thoughtful, mature and considerate. She was really good with the animals and I would strongly recommend her to anyone leaving their house to someone, as she went on to stay another month or so helping to look after the house since we wanted to have our last vacation away before our first child. We became really good friends and we still stay in contact with her. A definite 5 star experience for us!

I was fortunate to meet Mukta when she taught the prenatal part of my yoga certification course. I felt completely at ease with her bright smile and warm personality. Once she began the workshop, I realized her depth of knowledge about yoga and prenatal yoga in particular. She is a gift to mamas everywhere!

Mukta started teaching Prenatal Yoga Therapy at my studio as well as Continuing Education Workshops as part of my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course. Mukta’s teaching is like none other I have experienced. She has a deep understanding of the female body and how to use simple techniques and an overall approach for the highest wellbeing of yoga practitioners. Her students have reported experiencing their own bodies in a new way while gaining physical strength and healing that they did not expect.

I realized what a great decision it was to start. First of all, Müge is a very calm person and the atmosphere of her studio completes the peace. Having a warm welcome may surprise you at first, but you will realize that it is a blessing. There is no extra item or disturbing light that will tire you in the yoga class. If you want, you can come early and talk to the people in the class and talk about your pregnancy, or you can start the lesson without speaking. When I say without speaking, I am not talking about feeling lonely and forgotten. Müge will ask you at the beginning of the lesson how you are and whether everything is going well. Be sure that this will be a place where you feel at home.
These are very important things for me to be comfortable, frankly. If I wasn't comfortable, it wouldn't be possible for me to continue classes, as in my first yoga experience.
So what happened, if you ask what has helped you;
Finally, my Müge, I want to thank you. You came across me exactly when I needed it and made me do yoga in an environment that felt unworldly. Thank you for your smiling face, calm expressions and confidence. I wish life brings us all peace, tranquility and happiness-filled surprises.
I hope to meet again when I start taking time for myself after the birth.
With love…
I decided to start yoga after the birth trainings which I received at the women clinic. I am currently 31 weeks pregnant. Although I do sports regularly in my daily life, I believe that I had very enjoyable moments with Müge.
Before starting yoga, there was a state of weakness every day, no matter how much I exercised, there was a drowsiness afterwards. After I started practicing yoga, my body did not feel weak or exhausted, my physical condition was improved, my posture flourished, my circulatory system was strengthened, I never had edema and swelling in my body.
Most importantly, I had sciatic nerve pain, it disappeared. Accompanied by your beautiful music and asanas, I reduced my existing stress and anger accumulated in my body. Mrs. Müge gives incredible energy with her smiling face. Fortunately, I met you and I believe that I will have a happy pregnancy, delivery and postpartum period and will relax psychologically.

Müge has a very clean, sincere, loving high energy. This energy passes on to everyone in the room. I loved being with other pregnant women, a room full of little babies preparing to be born… This is beautiful… Every person, every baby, every pregnancy is unique. It was a chance for me and my baby to meet Müge.
Unfortunately, I cannot say that I am a very active and sportive person. During my pregnancy, in addition to small walks, breathing exercises at home and yoga practice at home with a DVD on my own, I continued yoga for two days after the 26th week. It would have been much better to be able to come three times a week and met Müge from the very beginning, even before pregnancy, but even these two classes that I attended regularly with Müge after the 26th week were very good for me. So much so that when I missed one of these lessons, out of necessity, I could immediately see the effect it had on my body. My hands, which normally did not swell, were swollen when the lesson was interrupted, my energy decreased, and my sleeping pattern, which was in order with yoga, was disrupting.
At the end of all this I realized that; If you want to start yoga, the energy of the person who will teach you is one of the most important thing, if it does not match your energy, it is very difficult for you to love and enjoy yoga, at least it was like that for me. I never really thought that I would love to practice yoga. I can’t recommend this class enough.
We wholeheartedly thank Müge, the owner of the sweet voice and energy that my baby and I love, and my other pregnant friends and their little babies who warm the room with their energies. All made this special period even more beautiful.
