my goal is to help moms experience pregnancy in joy and comfort.

Mukta Müge

I am a passionate yoga teacher who has developed my own way of teaching over the past 10 years. I teach yoga in the style of Hatha and integrate many exercises of mindfulness into my sessions; combining meditation, Kundalini, breathing and TaiChi.

I am a certified 800 hour Instructor (YogaAlliance) with Yoga Therapy certifications from Paramanand Institute of Yoga Science & Research in Indore, India, where I studied under the experienced guidance of  Dr. Omanandji.

My second teacher was another MD, Dr. Iskit who is also a Yoga Therapist in the Viniyoga style. After completing prenatal yoga and yoga therapy programs with two doctors and yoga therapists, I felt a calling that has led me into this rewarding field of Yoga Therapy.

My journey with moms-to-be started with my first studio in Istanbul and was predicated by the needs of close friends who were new expecting moms.

I taught large classes in conference halls of hospitals, smaller groups at women’s clinics and private sessions in my studio. I also taught while I was traveling around the world for three years. I have experience collaborating with doulas, midwives, gynecologists, birth keepers and activists.

I look forward to guiding you on your journey towards health, peace and happiness.

Practices like Yoga, Pranayama, TaiChi, Mindfulness and Meditation can deeply change your state of being and life.

I respect your differences and needs and move with care.

One hour sessions are designed specifically for prenatal groups. Unlike the regular yoga class where you must adjust your pose, these poses are designed specifically for this special nine month journey that you and your baby are on.
